Where do I start?? I think I've been so scared by that awful monopoly which is Hennessy JLR that I dread taking my car in for anything. I thought I'd give THE SHOP a try since they're close and had great reviews. First making an appointment online was super easy. My requested slot was booked, I received an email with some other options, clicked a different date a day or two later and done - a breeze. Bright and early I was greeted by Trish who was super friendly (way more than me at 9AM on a Monday!) which was such a nice and welcome surprise. I brought my L405 Range Rover to THE SHOP for what I thought would be a brake pad replacement since mine were squeaking obnoxiously. Here is where THE SHOP totally earned my loyalty. Trish calls me up and says that my brakes still have plenty of life and no need to replace them, but if I want they'll give it an inspection to see what they can come up with. They found quite a few things wrong, some of which I supposedly paid Hennessy ~$1500 to do about a month ago. Why is this shocking?? Well my car is still under factory warranty and all the work they recommend should be covered under factory warranty which they (unfortunately) can't do. They wrote it up and gave me documentation of what was wrong so I can bring that along with me when I schedule my warranty repairs. I will definitely be doing any out of pocket maintenance here going forward and now that I've found a great shop it might entice me to finally get that Classic SWB RR I've wanted since I was a kid! All of this was a really long way of saying 'just bring your damn rover to THE SHOP'.
